During the first visit we conduct a comprehensive health review, photograph and measure your wound, and an evaluation of mobility and comfort. You will receive a clear explanation of your treatment plan and next steps.

We offer evidence-based wound care therapies delivered in the home. Treatments may include wound cleansing, dressing changes, conservative or enzymatic debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, compression therapy, and advanced wound care products such as bioengineered skin substitutes. We select therapies based on best practices and your individual healing requirements.

Yes! Atrium Wound Care accepts Medicare and others. Our team assists with insurance verification and billing coordination to help minimize administrative burden for patients and caregivers.

Visit frequency depends on the wound type, treatment plan, and healing progress. Most patients receive weekly visits, though frequency may be adjusted as healing progresses.

Absolutely! Atrium Wound Care encourages caregiver involvement. Family members and caregivers are welcome during visits and receive education on wound monitoring, care techniques when appropriate, and prevention strategies to support your long term wellbeing.

Once a wound has healed, care transitions to prevention and maintenance. Patients and caregivers receive guidance on skin protection, circulation support, pressure relief strategies, and early warning signs to help prevent recurrence.
